Nike [quick]strikes again with another potentially classic release.

This is D3 The Concrete, bringing you fashion from the street.

Nike SB has been coming back to the forefront with a vengeance! Travis Scott has been spotted wearing multiple pairs of Nike SBs that have been enshrined in the proverbial Hall of Fame of sneakers. The new “Orange Label” series with upgraded, higher quality materials and retro-cuts of certain silhouettes, such as the Blazer, Dunk Lo, Bruin, Gato, and the ever elusive Dunk Mid, took off with much success. Now, the popular 4/20 series of SB sneakers is coming back around with the heavily detailed “Walk The Dog” concept sneaker.

This Nike SB model has more details than any other sneaker that I have seen in recent years: from nappy green suede to resemble grass, to different patterns of pony hair resembling dog fur coats. The inner lining is rumored to be printed with all of the canine pets of on-staff workers from Nike. Not to mention, the bright red check is made of a dog leash like material. The best detail on the shoe is one that is not readily seen: a brown “stain” under the translucent sole that gives the look of stepped on dog crap.

This shoe is reasonably priced ($110 on SNKRS), as pretty much all Nike SB releases are. I also like the fact that sneaker shops are going to be the only other way to grab them. If you like these, be sure to get out there because these are going to be great.

Before I conclude, I know I have been away for far too long, but May 11th, I will back to the grind, for real. What is significant about that date? I graduate from Houston Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising. By then, I ALSO plan on having a certification from the “Sneaker Essentials” program at FIT x Complex. I’m very proud of myself.
