New York bred streetwear meets Italian high fashion in this latest exclusive joint creation.

This is D3 The Concrete, bringing you fashion from the street.

So, we have seen Supreme with Louis Vuitton, Vetements with Manolo Blahnik and KITH with Bergdorf Goodman (about 5x over!). Now, we get to see, possibly the biggest streetwear x high fashion collaboration this side of 2019: with Italia’s own, VERSACE.

For those that have been under a rock, hidden under the Pacific Ocean, VERSACE is one of the largest fashion houses in the world, making $757,018,323 as of 2016. Started by Gianni Versace and taken over by his sister, Donatella, after his untimely death, the Versace brand is one that, like Gucci, has deep rooted connections with the hip-hop community (fun fact: Tupac Shakur, my favorite rapper, was the first and ONLY rapper to walk the runway for Versace). That is where KITH comes in.

As you know, if you have been keeping up with their brand, KITH has been on the cusp of streetwear for sometime now, but within the last five years or so, they have been making some distinct powermoves with their high fashion collaborations. This VERSACE collaboration, though, elevates the KITH brand to another level, in my opinion. It’s a perfect blend of the loud, ostentatious, and vibrant aesthetic of VERSACE with the demure, simple and grave aesthetic of KITH.

It does drop on the 15th of February, but I have a feeling that this capsule will not stay on the rack for long.

Take a look at the photos of my favorite looks below the jump and tell me in the comments if you feel that this is the collab of the year!
