Mike Checc’s “Keep It Real Freestyle” gets its own official visuals.

Back at the start of the year, Mike Checc embarked on “Mike Checc Mondays” to roll out the red carpet for his then-impending ‘The Checc In’ mixtape. After closing 2017 by freestyling over Young M.A.’s “Walk,” he kicked off 2018 by dropping bars on “Keep It Real Freestyle,” over which he revisited the timeless Jay-Z and Big L sparring match at Hot 97.

Now that Mike Checc Mondays are back in effect, the Houston emcee and 7TEEN5 ambassador has given his “Keep It Real Freestyle” an accompanying set of visuals.

Having already proven her ability to make Mike Checc literally “glow” in the dark by way of the “Since When Freestyle” visuals, director Wandeezy of The Oyili Sisters is back behind the lens for “Keep It Real Freestyle’s” music video. She catches Mike’s locs blowing in the wind, and the rapper’s golden grill is amplified by the sunshine when he grins between his verses. The video’s sole intent is to remind viewers and fans just how much of a man of the people Mike Checc really is. His rhymes may bite, but even though his star is rising and even as he insists “Heart up on my sleeve, today I left it at the crib,” he’s still kicking it with his friends and hasn’t outgrown home. You can’t keep it any realer than that.

Watch Mike Checc’s “Keep It Real Freestyle” video for yourself up top. Though his ‘HOME’ EP is still being cooked up, you can still grab his ‘The Checc In’ project off iTunes now.
