Sango revisits the chemistry he and Xavier Omar had on Hours Spent Loving You for a new single.

Two years ago, Seattle-based producer Sango and San Antonio’s Xavier Omar partnered for a seven-track EP titled Hours Spent Loving You. Two years later, the ‘De Mim Pra Vocé’ creator re-teams with Omar for “Sweet Holy Honey,” the lead single from his upcoming debut album In The Comfort Of.

“Sweet Holy Honey,” comes with an appropriate video as well. As the record glides and Omär’s vocals detail the love and warmth a woman brings, the video shows two angels bringing Sango into their sanctuary.

“The inspiration for the video actually comes from the underlying meaning of the song,” Sango says. “Sweet Holy Honey stems from cherishing the existence of women and the gift they bring to the world. When I approached Xavier Omär with this idea, I wanted him to write about how it may feel when you hold back the urge to have sex with a woman that you’re in love with. It’s not a typical love song.”

Watch the video for “Sweet Holy Honey” below. Sango’s In The Comfort Of is due out March 16 with guest appearances from Jesse Boykins III, JMSN, Smino and more.
