Northside Houston and Miami join forces on another The World Is Yours cut.

Slim Thug’s brand new album The World Is Yours arrives on Friday. Following last week’s lead single of “Kingz & Bosses” with Big K.R.I.T., Thugga joins forces once more with the Bawse, Rick Ross for “Boss Talk.” The appropriately titled track features Houston and She Gotta Have It‘s own Jack Freeman and you can stream it below.

Premiered by Complex, the two rappers with similar nicknames maneuver in similar lanes. Freeman is the glue, letting his bluesman voice rest in favor of a smokey, relaxed tone. “That’s big boss dawg, tryna put 100 million in the vault,” Freeman sings. “These n****s hatin’ but we let ’em talk / Pull up to the dealership and buy ’em all.”

In Slim’s eyes, The World Is Yours is his sequel to his 2005 major label debut, Already Platinum. The only difference is, there’s no Neptunes production and a heavy leaning on Houston acts such as GNB, Cam Wallace, Donnie Houston and more. “Ross and I have known each other for a while and he knew I was doing my Boss Life Construction Company (we are rebuilding the neighborhood that I grew up in from the ground up) so he tapped me to hop on the remix of his track, ‘Buy Back the Block’ and he hopped on my track ‘Boss Talk,'” Slim says of how “Boss Talk” between he and Ross came to be. “‘Boss Talk’ is just that, two bosses talking boss shit over a G&B H-Town track. This is Southern soul, Cadillac music.”
