Jett I Masstyr’s “Grateful” with John Dew and Kashmere Don gets an official video.

Jett I Masstyr’s Decorative Pillows album figures to spar with a few other albums in regards to being amongst the year’s best. Following the video for “The Light / The Way,” the Houston producer makes sure his signature sound, a gospel-tinged soulful boop bap is the main star for “Grateful.”

Featuring Kashmere Don and John Dew, the black and white video is a straight-forward affair for all parties. Dew commands the early batch of screentime as he rocks back and forth delivering bars about making it where others may have faltered. “It’s so cliche to say the sky’s the limit when you know it is,” Dew raps on his opening verse. Kashmere Don echoes him during the close, “Expose every wound you accept like I’m bleedin / Thankin’ God for a new season.”
