This is D3 The Concrete, bringing you fashion from the street.

Now, you may be thinking as you read this article, ‘What is THIS gonna be about?” “PORNhoodies?” Yes.

Streetwear has ALWAYS included imagery of a pornographic nature, from Supreme:

to MISHKA:

there was even a brand called TITS (!), who’s models were ALL porn actresses (softcore & hardcore):

Now, we step into the world of PORNHOODIES, as we talk to Malcolm Bracey aka Malcolm XXX about his brand, its origins, and what exactly inspired him to put “something wild on a sweatshirt”.

Writer’s Note: Remember this article is NSFW! You have been warned!

Tell us who you are & where you are from.

My name is Malcolm XXX, well actually Malcolm Bracey. I’m working on changing my last name to XXX legally. I’m a Black kid from Madison, Wisconsin. I just turned 25 and I’m horrible at talking [LOL].

Tell us how you got into streetwear.

I got into street wear by skating. I feel, as a kid, I was a little punk emo Black kid and [ I ] like to skate and shit and skaters always had the juice when it came to style, I believe and that’s where it all came from.

I have to be honest: pound for pound, your brand is, by far, the most provocative brand that I have ever seen. I think the only other brand that MAYBE could hold a candle to yours in its natural state of rawness and intensity is MISHKA and that was early in the game. When did you start to create PORNHOODIES and what inspired you to do so?

As I said in my Highsnobiety interview… I didn’t have to say that [ I ] wanted to stunt [LOL], I was in the mall with my cousin and I wanted to make a hoodie and I thought to myself “what would be the wildest thing to put on a hoodie?”, and then I thought porn, but not even just porn, something wild, like girls fisting. So I did that, and I knew it would something that would change the game, maybe not right away, but clothes were already starting to get wild with half naked girls, so I wanted to go as far as I could and as raw as I could and there’s nothing more natural than the human body, really. Also, I do respect women very much so and I’m not so[me] weird sex head, even though that’s what it would seem, and I do understand, in some ways, that it can be a touchy subject. I’m not out to be political. I have a brand with porn and I’ll leave it at that. Fuck the politics, I did what I wanted and some will like it and some won’t.

Where do you find your pictures to put on the hoodies?

Some of the pictures I took. Most of them are from a place I like to call the WORLD WIDE WEB and I search that bitch for hours and find the perfect one. BEST JOB EVER.

What do you have coming in the near future?

I want to just keep growing in the future. Get more cool people in my brand and spread like germs. I’m emailing with the people at Playboy and seeing what’s up with working [ with them]. Life [is] really changing a lot for me right now, its weird. Weeks ago, I was working at H&M and now, I’m doing cool shit all the time as my job and I pray it only gets better.

Any advice for aspiring designers or streetwear retailers out there?

As advice, JUST DO IT [Nike check]. Do something different. Just don’t take my style because I’m still poor, so maybe when I’m on, just wait a bit, I guess, and never let these people change you. Lord knows they didn’t like what I was doing when I started, some still don’t, but I pushed that shit! Now, I’m getting places because I stuck with it.
If you want to see the uncensored versions of these hoodies, go to PORNHOODIES.
