This is D3 The Concrete, bringing you fashion from the street!

Although I tend to cover brands that are based outside of the city for the most part, it does my heart glad to see fully formed brands pushing streetwear forward, especially to clothing beyond just t-shirts and caps.

Prime example, A Herd of Bison, the new brand from long-time designer, Kareem Day (founder of Exclusive Doofus, another classic Houstonian streetwear brand, which we at Day & A Dream wrote about in 2012) is coming with their inaugural F/W release this coming weekend.

Check out this beautifully worded vision statement that A Herd Of Bison has for itself:

” [We seek] To encapsulate the male/female image into an apparel brand and concept space that conveys both aesthetically appealing and well-crafted pieces in conjunction with curating memorable visual and tangible experiences.”

This will indeed be a memorable and aesthetically appealing event, due to its location alone: A Herd Of Bison was able to partner up with The Buffalo Soldiers National Museum to showcase their clothing for the first time in public.

You can RSVP for the event by clicking the flier below, but do it SOON because the clothes are bound to SELL OUT! Also, check out some sneak peeks sent to us by the brand and be on the lookout for their website debut as well!
