Welcome to Wakanda and the majesty of Black Panther.

Black Panther, the next in line from Marvel following November’s upcoming Thor: Ragnarok has released its full-length trailer. Following June’s reveal of the teaser trailer, we now have a full-length look at Ryan Coogler’s upcoming Marvel flick, and it is gorgeous.

This time, we get a bit more into what’s going to occur when fans hit theaters next February. Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) only wants to usurp the throne of Wakanda from T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), which isn’t the most leaping of plot points. However, the trailer does a fantastic job of showing the vitality and vibrancy of Wakanda. There are comfortable living quarters, daunting and palatial palaces and enough in surrounding areas that make Wakanda feel like a place you want to inhabit for the rest of your life. Andy Serkis’ Klaw returns as a secondary villain, Martin Freeman’s Everett Ross returns as well to remind us that he’s never seen anything like Wakanda. That includes the Hulk, Thor and almost every other significant moment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

What Coogler got right with Creed was that sometimes, the action is secondary to the look and feel of the story. Philadelphia was its own story in that particular film. Wakanda becomes the focal point here. How it manages to exist where Black Panther does your typical superhero things like rip tires off of cars, flip through the air and run down a building in Seoul, South Korea will be keen to see. Expect theaters to be packed when Black Panther arrives in theaters on February 16.
