#houstoncreativescare we are houston

#HoustonCreativesCare announce the We Are Houston Harvey relief show — and it features a load of guests.

#HoustonCreativesCare launched less than two weeks ago with an emphasis on taking donations for Hurricane Harvey relief. The next logical step in continuing the mission after the camera crews are gone and the national media moves on? A bigger play.

In our eight year history, we’ve never thrown a concert. Until now.

In our partnership with #HoustonCreativesCare, we’re throwing the biggest local hip-hop and R&B related Hurricane Harvey relief show in the city at one of our favorite venues, Warehouse Live. Titled We Are Houston, the lineup features men and women who we’ve been fans of on this site and beyond. Doughbeezy, DeLorean, Doeman, Wolfe De Mçhls, Mike Red, Rai P, Jack Freeman, LeeLonn, Erva Carter, Hot Peez, Rocky Banks, Devante, Mike Checc, Flyger Woods, Jay-Von, T2 the Ghetto Hippie, George Young, Show Louis, Noah Nova, JohnFugginDough, Cooley Kimble, Izzar Thomas, Rob Gullatte and Dylan Cohl.

All of these artist plus spins from DJ Big Reeks and The Waxaholics, Donnie Houston, DJ Hollygrove of The Chopstars, Mike C and John Rambo? It can’t be beat.

Here’s where you come in. Pre-sale tickets are $10. Tickets at the door are $15. All ticket sales, proceeds  and donations will go to purchasing supplies and will be directly distributed to those who’ve been affected by the flooding caused by Hurricane Harvey. This is a FUBU show – for us, by us and for the community at-large.

The show is taking place on Saturday, September 9 from 4-10 p.m. Tickets are available via the Warehouse Live website or here. We hope to see you there.
