Roy O. and Hot Peez live lavish on “Fluorescent.”

From the muddy homage to Mannie Fresh’ style New Orleans bounce to the delivery, Roy O.’s “Fluorescent” single is NOLA to its core. The Houston rapper has good reason to extend his sound beyond I-10 East as Hot Peez adds a guest verse here. Taken off of Ovie, Roy O.’s upcoming album, the Nigerian born artist is seeking triple-doubles like he’s Westbrook and isn’t looking for any other comparisons.

“Never stress another n*gga pockets,” Roy O. advises on “Fluorescent.” Hot Peez agrees. The Lagniappe rapper maintains that he’s gonna be balling like a tax check and becomes maybe the only rapper in human history to name check Joyce Meyers in a song. Hear “Fluorescent” from Roy and Hot Peez below.
