tyler the creator flower boy

Flower Boy, the follow-up to Cherry Bomb features Frank Ocean, Pharrell Williams, Lil Wayne, Kali Uchis and more.

Tyler the Creator promised something big would happen a little over a month ago. True to his word, the Odd Future leader and N.E.R.D devotee released a trio of new singles including “911 / Mr. Lonely,” and “Who Dat Boy” with A$AP Rocky. Now arrives Flower Boy, a 14-track album where the “softer” side of Tyler’s creativity gets to show out. Fans were already blown away with The Gap Band flip of “911 / Mr. Lonely” but the production only intensifies with rich, lively instrumentation on tracks like “Garden Shed” and “Boredom.”

If you’re coming into Flower Boy thinking that the shock and awe that dominated albums like Bastard and Goblin still exists then you’re mistaken. The past four years and change have shown Tyler the Creator is a musician, not shock artist. Stream Flower Boy from the Los Angeles based creative below. Purchase the album now on iTunes.
