jmsn whatever makes you happy

JMSN’s turn as a blue-eyed soul man is complete on Whatever Makes You Happy.

JMSN has held our attention since the “Jameson (Shelter Point Remix)” in 2012. Then came Priscilla and “Alone” and from there began a now five-year odyssey with the Detroit born singer that has found favor with electronic soul and more. Even if he had minor pop tendencies, he was a soul singer at best, a trait that exhibited itself brightest on stage and on later records.

Whatever Makes U Happy comes nearly a full year after It Is. There’s no distorted view on the album cover, no shroud of mystery. Instead, there’s JMSN front and center with two fire singles in “Drinkin” and “Where Did U Go” back to back. The 8-track project is a short and sweet affair for him and you can take it for a spin yourself via iTunes or JMSN’s home base via vinyl.
