kendrick lamar damn. tour

Kendrick Lamar makes his stadium debut this summer with the ‘DAMN.’ tour featuring Travis Scott & Big Baby DRAM.

The ‘DAMN.’ Tour is a real thing. After his master stroke of a Coachella performance, Lamar finally let the world get an idea of when he was heading on tour. The seven-time Grammy winner dropped the dates and guests for his upcoming ‘DAMN.’ Tour and they feature one notable Houston rocker (Travis Scott) and D.R.A.M.

The tour kicks off in Phoenix on July 12 before hitting Dallas on July 14 and a hometown date (for Scott) on July 15 in Houston. The 17-date trek finishes up in Lamar’s hometown of Los Angeles at the Staples Center, a 30-minute drive from Compton. In between there’ll be stops in Atlanta, Philly, Brooklyn, D.C., Boston, Toronto, Chicago & Denver. A victory lap for Kung-Fu Kenny indeed.

It’s been that kind of year already for Lamar. His fourth Aftermath/Interscope album DAMN. registered the highest first week sales of 2017 with 610,000 copies last week. That would mean yes, he outsold Drake. Even if that is a cold war type of rivalry, Kung-Fu Kenny can at least say he’s on Drake’s level in one way.
