Jada Pinkett-Smith & Queen Latifah reunite with an all-star cast in the raunchy new comedy, ‘Girls Trip’.

The last time Jada Pinkett-Smith & Queen Latifah shared screen time together was in the 1996 action classic Set It Off. Twenty-one years later the longtime friends are leading an ensemble cast willing to have a little excitement in their lives. Why? Because, whatever happens in New Orleans gets told at meet-ups for the rest of time.

Girls Trip, the upcoming Malcom D. Lee film carries a hell of a cast with it. Regina Hall, Tiffany Haddish, Larenz Tate, Kate Walsh, Luke Cage‘s Mike Colter & Queen Sugar‘s Kofi Siriboe round out the crew. The upcoming Universal comedy was scripted by black’ish creator Kenya Barris and Tracy Oliver.

Girls Trip follows four lifelong friends (Hall, Latifah, Pinkett-Smith, Haddish) who travel to NOLA for the annual Essence Festival in July. If you’re thinking of the ridiculousness of Bridesmaids, Girls Trip amplifies that and then some. Sisterhoods and bonds are strengthened, comfort zones are left behind and there’s more than enough dancing, drinking, romance & fights to make for a memorable weekend in the 504.

Produced by Will Packer & Malcolm D. Lee, Girls Trip hits theaters July 21st. See the raunchy red-band trailer for the film below.
