Big Sean’s fourth album features Eminem, Migos, The-Dream, Starrah, Jhene Aiko & more.

2015 was a pivotal year for Big Sean. Dismissed a bit after Hall Of Fame, the G.O.O.D Music rapper instead turned in his best album with Dark Sky Paradise. Opening himself up for far more critique and admittance of his faults, the album yielded his biggest single (“IDFWU”) and propelled him to a rarefied position. Sean Anderson, once thought of as a pure Kanye disciple was now the most consistent act on G.O.O.D Music. And that included Yeezy.

Two years (and another publicized relationship) later, Sean returns with I Decided. Album number four for the Detroit rapper is his most personal to date. A concept album in the nature of rebirth, I Decided is about a man rediscovering himself through the work of R&B and soul music.

“As an artist you can imagine, you make sacrifices as an artist like putting your privacy on the line,” he said. “If you’re a true artist you sacrifice your privacy, you sacrifice the stories of your life you’ve been through, you sacrifice all these different emotions and you put em out there but it’s for people to relate to it’s for people to help them get through their times.”

The 14-track album features Eminem, Jhené Aiko, Migos, The-Dream, Jeremih, Starrah & more. Previous singles from I Decided include the gold-selling “Bounce Back”, “Moves” and more. Stream I Decided in full on Apple Music below and purchase it on iTunes.
