ric flair nature boy doc

ESPN reveals the debut trailer for ‘Nature Boy’, arguably the most anticipated ’30 For 30′ in 2017.

The legend of “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair spans generations. It connects fabrics of time. You have people who know of Flair from the NWA days. Or the Four Horsemen. Or his 1992 Royal Rumble win (still the most significant one night title win in WWE history). The quotes, his connections to hip-hop, the swings of highs and lows. There is no wrestler that embodies generational pop culture more than the Nature Boy.

ESPN has been working on a 30 For 30 documentary on the Nature Boy and here’s the lead trailer below. Soundtracked to “A Real Hero” by College Youth, Flair sits isolated in the ring, rattling off how good he was in the ring and then some.

“Everybody wanted to be me,” Flair says in the trailer. “Nicest clothes, fastest cars, biggest house, more women. And I was the best wrestler.”

Watch the trailer below. The film, directed by Rory Karpf (“I Hate Christian Laettner”, “40 Minutes Of Hell”) is set to arrive next year.
