Show Louis & Pugtunes close out 2016 with a collaborative EP, ‘Country Trap Tunes’.

Earlier this year, Show Louis released his strongest project to date in Love & Drugz. In a strong Houston rap year, it still remains one of the best projects of the year. To cap the year off, Show Louis teams with frequent collaborator Pugtunes for a brand new, 9-track EP. Country Trap Tunes from the duo features an introductory word from Pimp C and D-Gotti Monroe as the lone guest.

“This EP is a joint collaboration between Pugtunes & Show Louis, dedicated to the memory of Marie Sesay,” Show says about the collaboration. Sesay, a local supporter for hundreds of artists was tragically found murdered this summer. Show’s rather reflective point of view, combined with a dark sense of humor plays out over the course of the EP. Pugtunes ratchets up the feel of a church parishioner confessing for survival on “Sixteen”. All throughout, nothing changes for Show. His demeanor is all the same, yet his penchant for crafting to the point, enjoyable country rap tunes? Top notch.

“All we know is trap, even see scales in my zodiac,” Show muses on “On The Real”. Stream Country Trap Tunes from Show Louis & Pugtunes below. Purchase the EP on iTunes or Bandcamp.
