Spider-Man: Homecoming’s debut trailer features Vulture, Iron Man & Hot Aunt May.

Admit it, you were sold on Tom Holland as Spider-Man when he made his appearance in Captain America: Civil War. Admit it, you were sold on the Marvel Studios / Sony Pictures joint effort when Tony dropped off a new parcel to Spidey. Admit that you’re going to the cinemas to see Spider-Man: Homecoming on July 7, 2017. Cause we are. Cause the lead trailer to the film has arrived.

Instead of giving us yet another origin story with Spidey, we’re picking right up after the events of Civil War. Peter Parker just spent time in Europe battling half of The Avengers and now he’s back to stopping petty criminals in New York City. And math decathalons. Luckily, things such as the Vulture and Parker’s constant amazement with his own powers to pique his (and our) interests.

Holland told USA Today, “This is really a movie where Spider-Man’s not the finished article. He really does learn and he makes massive mistakes. It’s nice to see a kid do that and then try to rectify those mistakes.”

Watch the debut trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming below. The film , directed by Jon Watts features Holland, Michael Keaton, Robery Downey Jr. reprising his role as Iron Man / Tony Stark, Zendaya & more. The film opens July 7, 2017.
