The Rock’s reboot game takes us back to the ’90s — with Baywatch.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson needs a few more films under his belt before that 2020 Presidential run. While one rather orange looking fellow wants to Make America Great Again, The Rock wants to bring back something that was great and put it on the big screen. He already has the upcoming Jumanji reboot with he and Kevin Hart. But also, he & Zac Efron are doing the buddy co – err buddy lifeguard thing for Baywatch. The film adaptation of one of the ’90s greatest cultural TV shows hits theaters Memorial Day 2017 and here is the debut trailer.

Despite The Rock delivering a rather impressionable bit of narration in the beginning, the film is an R-rated comedy so expect, nudity, F-bombs & explosions. “Our team is the elite of the elite,” Johnson says during the opening scene of he diving into fiery waters to save someone. “We’re the heart and soul of this very beach. We protect when other people don’t wanna protect, and we go above and beyond.”

The trailer doesn’t give much away in regards to the plot. Just remember Baywatch for what it was on TV: pretty people running around in bathing suits. The ensemble cast is loaded with pretty people. Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Hannibal Buress and Priyanka Chopra also co-star.
