Anderson .Paak Sets The Party Off In “Come Down” Video [@andersonpaak #malibu] Brandon Caldwell October 31, 2016 Music, Music Video Since January, Anderson .Paak’s “Come Down” has become one of the year’s more audible records. It’s being used by ESPN as the new theme for their NFL Countdown show. TNT’s picked it up for their NBA coverage. It’s also in Madden 17 and WWE 17. In other words, .Paak’s hard-rock dance floor mover is Malibu‘s ubiquitous single. And now there’s an official video. Created with the idea of Ernie Barnes’ iconic Sugar Shack and Marvin Gaye’s I Want You covers in mind, .Paak makes sure he’s all over the place for the video. While his band The Free Nationals play loudly on stage, .Paak plays multiple characers. He’s the dominoes player getting into a drunken argument, the drummer, the band leader, a guy who throws up on the dance floor and more. “Sweaty-black-funk-sexy-good-time,” .Paak told Complex. “Enjoy.” The year of Anderson .Paak continues on. Watch the “Come Down” video below. If you haven’t already copped Yes Lawd!, his latest LP with NxWorries partner Knxwledge? Treat yourself to that throwback piece to ’70s funk as well.
