D.R.A.M.’s Big Baby D.R.A.M. debut is out tonight.

The last time we heard D.R.A.M. in the type of mode he is on his “WiFi” collaboration with Erykah Badu was “Caretaker”. That was with SZA and served as either bedroom material or reconciliation music, whichever you prefer. “WiFi” slows everything down to wah-wah guitars, a ’90s thick bass line and Badu adding to a psychadelic love affair. There’s plenty of come ons wrapped around iPhones, a long extended sexual metaphor about connecting with your partner and more. Netflix & chill gets a reference, there’s a rubbery Funkadelic guitar solo and both parties singing, “No strings attached, just connected.”
