Solange Knowles Brings Her ‘Seat’ To Houston With Latest Videos

We’ve already touched upon how brilliant Solange Knowles’ third album, A Seat At The Table is. Now the singer-songwriter has taken her album (and accompanying book) to another level with two videos. “Cranes In The Sky” features a small piece of Houston’s Alley Theatre alongside multiple visuals of women in various shades and visions of beauty. “Don’t Touch My Hair” adds to it with nods to Lynette Yiadom-Boakye’s 2013 piece “Complication”. Both videos were directed by Solange and her husband Alan Ferguson. “Don’t Touch My Hair” also features British singer-songwriter Sampha as well as bits of Houston architecture, located in Alief. Both videos were premiered via Solange’s Saint Heron website and you can watch them below.
