The Brooklyn rapper will serve 7 years (with time served) at Rikers over his 2014 murder conspiracy case.

After breaking out with the massive banger “Hot N*gga” in 2014, then 20-year-old Brooklyn native Bobby Shmurda(aka Ackquille Pollard) seemed destined for success, dropping his well received Shmurda She Wrote tape in November of that year. That came to a screeching halt in December of that same year, after he along with 14 others were arrested and charged in connection with conspiracy to commit murder, drug and gun possession as well as reckless endangerment.

Now after spending nearly two years in jail it looks as if the case has finally come to a resolution, after Shmurda reportedly agreed to a plea deal in relation to the conspiracy to commit murder and weapon charges. The remaining charges have been dismissed. Prior to the deal he was facing the possibility of life in prison, but will now spend 7 years in prison and another 5 years on probation once he is released.
