Drake, OG Ron C, OVO, Rap-A-Lot & more to take part in second OVO Celebrity Basketball Game.

The Houston Celebrity Basketball Game two years ago ended in a rather unique way. Drake & James Harden sat courtside, cheering on Team OVO against Team Rap-A-Lot. Kirko Bangz acted like Steph Curry and began lighting people on fire from three. Dez Bryant participated. Actually, a lot of people participated. It ended however after three quarters, becoming the first basketball game in my life to end due to Canadian shenanigans.

Last year during HAW 2, the OVO crew and local organizers decided that a Softball Game at the University of Houston would be best to raise funds for charities in Houston. Odell Beckham Jr., played, same for Houston Texans RB Alfred Blue and even Drake himself. This year, the OVO camp along with PSE & Rap-A-Lot are teaming up for the second Houston Celebrity Basketball game, this time at TSU’s H&PE Arena on September 4th.

Drake’s OVO All-Stars will be taking the court against J. Prince’s Rap-A-Lot All-Stars with celebrities including RiFF RaFF, Mike Jones, Slim Thug, Kirko Bangz & more. Proceeds will benefit Sure Thing Inc., T.J. Ford Foundation, Prince Complex Foundation, and Texas Southern University. Doors open to the public at 11 AM followed by a 3-Point Contest at 12 PM, a Slam Dunk Contest at 1 PM and the celebrity game at 2 PM.
