Hear PARTYNEXTDOOR’s newest single, the dancehall-flavored “Not Nice.”

It sounds like PARTYNEXTDOOR has been bit by the island music bug, too.

At least, that’s how it seems according to “Not Nice,” the latest single from the OVO crooner. PARTYNEXTDOOR premiered the single tonight, with the added bonus of finally giving his fans a heads up for his third album: P3 (PARTYNEXTDOOR 3) is coming in August.

But it’s still July for now, and that means there’s plenty of time for “Not Nice” to slide right in next to “Come & See Me” on your summer playlist. The nearly three and a half minute track thrives on thudding keys, rhythmic drums and a Jamaican patois sample, as PARTY weaves a tale of a woman who did him wrong. “Look what you’re putting me through,” the singer pleads, “I’d never do this to you.” The content is cold but the song is groovy enough to where you’ll almost never notice – think “Hotline Bling,” but a little more riddim-minded and a lot more hypnotic.
