Phonte & Eric Roberson share the lead track from their upcoming Tigallero joint project.

Phonte’s been a busy man this year. Outside of touring for The Foreign Exchange’s In The Land of Milk & Honey album, he’s announced that he’s releasing his sophomore solo album in September. The icing on the cake? He and Eric Roberson are dropping a ten-track joint project, Tigallero. “It’s So Easy” is the first track from the project and you can stream it below.

Phonte is one of my closest friends in the music business. I would love to have him on every single record,” Roberson said in a 2013 interview with TheUrbanDaily.com.

Backed by a head moving bass line and hand claps, the duo sing about being in love and taking care of the right woman. “Want to talk about a friend of mine, that lives inside of my head,” Phonte sings on the opening verse. “And runs around, round and round and back and forth again.” Roberson shares similar sentiments. “For this girl came along, I had given up on my dreams. She placed her hand right where she said that love should be.”
