Episode 18 of the Good Culture Podcast gets DJ View #OnWax

TEDx speaker, badass DJ, renaissance man. We’ve featured more than a few DJ View mixes on the site and now with our extended Dallas family, View gets to tell his story to T. Lee, Kenny Reeves and L Mac. The 18th episode of the Good Culture Podcast starts off with respects paid to those who lost their lives in the Orlando massage on June 12th, leads into View’s story as a man who grew up from a single parent household to become a big proponent in higher education in Oklahoma City. The Longview native discusses how he managed to be part of a TEDx, his appearance in Black Enterprise as well as managing to mix Kirk Franklin’s “Stomp” into Juvenile’s “Back That Ass Up”.

Plus, the GC+ Podcast crew discuss Game 7 of the NBA Finals, Juneteenth, Father’s Day & more. You can subscribe to the Good Culture Podcast on iTunes, the official Good Culture site as well as on Soundcloud.

Father’s Day Weekend. Juneteenth. Game 7. Those things would have been enough for us to do a damn GOOD episode. But we strive for excellence so we had the homie DJ View in the studio with us. Hosting a TedX and being the subject of a Black Enterprise feature aren’t ordinary accolades for a DJ. Then again, this isn’t an ordinary podcast. Be a #WITNESS to Dallas’ dopest podcast.
