DVSN Announces Summer Solo Tour for Month of June [@dvsndvsn] Bradford J. Howard May 16, 2016 Music DVSN is apparently in for a very busy summer. The duo and recent OVO Sound signees, whose debut album SEPT. 5TH has gained them a league of new fans and added to the wealth of R&B releases this year alone that have breathed new life into the genre – were already slated to join Drake & Future on their upcoming “Summer Sixteen” Tour as opening acts. But before that kicks off, DVSN will have an opportunity to have the spotlight to themselves. The singer-producer duo announced a “Debut Tour” for the duration of June, hitting ten cities in North America. The tour will both start and end in Canada, kicking off in Montreal and ending in Toronto. The duo will also return to Texas for the second time this year, after previously popping up in Austin this past march for SXSW. One can only imagine what a live version of “The Line” or “Do It Well” might do to audiences, for example, considering the very warm reception of their respective album versions. Tickets for DVSN’s debut summer tour are expected to go on sale this Friday, May 20th, and the actual dates are outlined in the image above. The “Too Deep” duo will make a brief stop in Houston on June 15th.
