House of Vans Celebrates 50th Year Anniversary, Cliché Throws All Female Event In Honor of Women’s History Month Breanna Loose March 17, 2016 Concert Reviews, Events, Music, Photo Gallery, SXSW Every year, House of Vans throws their annual SXSW event, but this year being their 50th year anniversary they decided to do something not only for their special occasion but also in honor of Women’s History Month. With an all female line-up, both consisting of a number of the hottest up-and-coming female artists in the game right now, it’s safe to say that Cliché’s Women Crush Wednesday event was arguably the most unique SXSW event to be at on Wednesday. Sure, there are shows going on everywhere, but this show not only was a great show, but a statement as well. Bay-area rapper Lil’ Debbie and LA’s Softest Hard, a young dj/producer well on her way to the top, happened to be two of the best performances at the event and also are great representations of women putting in major work in this industry. Kehlani also made a special guest performance! Check out the photos below to see scenes from Women Crush Wednesday.
