With her brand-new LP on the way later this Spring, Corinne Bailey Rae debuts “Green Aphrodisiac,” the follow-up single to “Been To The Moon”. Both tracks are set to appear on The Heart Speaks In Whispers, her first album in nearly six years out May 13th. The Grammy Award-winning artist is as stripped away and free as can be on “Aphrodisiac’s” single artwork, drenched in green hues while wearing a striking white dress.

Co-written by Amber & Paris Strother of future-soul group KING, “Green Aphrodisiac” sports an enchanting melody aided by light keyboards and Bailey Rae ‘s own inviting, almost hypnotizing voice. “Lost in your wonderland/ Green aphrodisiac/ Kiss me your lips taste of honey/ Songbirds and bees start a humming,” Bailey Rae sings on “Green Aphrodisiac,” taking listeners on a joyride that could last for days, maybe even months. It’s a perfect weekend track for spring cleaning or trailing your fingers along to as you lay back in a state of relaxation.

“This song is inspired by intoxicating spring days laying in the grass in the afternoon, blossom and sunlight. The same thing that grows in the garden flows in me in you,” Corinne told Complex in regards to “Green Aphrodisiac.” “Hope you get lost in it!”
