We don’t think much needs to be said about the latest trailer for Captain America: Civil War, the third Cap film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the one that takes plenty from the Civil War arc in the comics. A little more doom and gloom is fleshed out in the exposition, there’s a lot more action and fights between Iron Man, Captain America, The Winter Soldier and more.

Wait, there is something big about the new trailer – Tom Holland’s Spider-Man makes his debut.

Not a single piece of promo art, photos, nothing about the Web Head’s inclusion into the film have been released online until today and people are rightfully losing their minds over it. Last year, Fox & Marvel brokered a deal that allowed Spider-Man to appear in Civil War and that Spidey would get his first official film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2017. Judging by the final scene of the new trailer, Spider-Man is of course Team Iron Man when the fight kicks off between the two Avengers leaders. Though its unclear if the film is going to follow the comic book canon inch by inch, Spidey switches sides and joins Team Captain America thanks to being rescued by The Punisher.

And there’s no good reason to believe that The Punisher is going to be a major focus of two Marvel properties in a year after he makes his debut in Daredevil next Friday. For now, catch all the action of the new Captain America: Civil War trailer below.
