Earlier today, Future confirmed DJ Khaled’s initial news that he was releasing an album Friday. The title of that album is EVOL and will be available for pre-order on iTunes at midnight tonight. But, the cover of EVOL looks rather familiar, real familiar.

Where have been with Future and album art before? So, last summer Future decided the best route for his DS2 cover wasn’t to commission somebody to shoot a photo of him and slap some graphics on top. Instead, the Pluotian and Freebandz leader decided to hit up Shutterstock, purchase an $80 image from Slovenian artist Sanja Tošić and decided to call it the DS2 cover. Not to mention, Tošić’s art was also the cover of a 12th grade chemistry book. So yes, either you were going to happen to pass by DS2 in one form or fashion.

Up top is Future’s brand new album cover for EVOL (‘Love’ backwards), his second project in as many weeks that will be premiered on Apple Music Friday via DJ Khaled’s We The Best radio show on Beats 1 Radio. It’s unclear if Future listens to Sonic Youth but it is clear that he’s quite talented at Googling potential album covers. Why do you ask? Because the same image also appears here from a Polish design company known as Behance. Titled, “The Ash”, it’s a multi-layered piece to celebrate dreams coming true.

We all dream sometimes, about something we want to have or do. Luckily, if we have enough patience, a real willingness and at least a pinch of determination we are able to make our dream come true. Our experience has also thought us to have the best and the right people beside you, because they are the main ingredient of every success. So this time we wanted to share with you guys a result of an idea and a great cooperation to make it real. “The Ash” – came to our minds as a simple thought – glowing roses – maybe as a some kind of symbol or maybe as a simple whim.

It’s unclear if concept artist Michal Lisowski will be credited with the artwork but we’re beginning to notice something. Future, has an affinity for art from Eastern European artists. In the meantime, hear Future’s “In Abundance’ track below from EVOL below. EVOL
