‘Justice League’ To Return To Cartoon Network, Kevin Conroy As Batman, Mark Hamil As Joker Brandon Caldwell January 30, 2016 News, TV/Movies Fans of Warner Bros. Animation have to rejoice a little more today. The film side has already made a slew of great Batman titles including the recently released Batman: Bad Blood. Now Warner Bros. Animation is bringing back the Justice League to Cartoon Network. Now, the original Justice League ran on Cartoon Network from 2001 to 2004, helping inspire follow-up series like Justice League: Unlimited, Teen Titans and Young Justice. This particular Justice League show, Justice League Action will feature two DC fan favorites, Kevin Conroy reprising his role from Batman: The Animated Series as The Dark Knight and Mark Hamil, who has sworn for years that he was retiring as the voice of the Joker to once more become Batman’s greatest nemesis. It will run in an 11-minute format with rotating guest stars, much like how Cartoon Network’s current DC property, Teen Titans GO! operates. Justice League Action will be executive produced by Sam Register, who also is a producer for Teen Titans GO! Also a noted plus? James Woods will voice Lex Luthor in Justice League Action which is set to hit TV in 2017.
