Rascal F. Kennedy - Nemesis

When he’s not plotting to get on staff with Marvel Studios and divulging comic book theories, Rascal F. Kennedy raps in his spare time. Or maybe it’s the other way around. You can’t tell the difference, exactly, because either could be a hobby but Kennedy’s equally dedicated to both.

The Houston emcee marries his passions for rap craft and comic characters on his latest single, “Nemesis.” As its single artwork implies, “Nemesis” borrows a sample The Dark Knight Rises to craft some theme music worthy of a final level boss. New Dersey Beats handles production, providing a booming, sinister backdrop for Rascal F. Kennedy to play the villain – even using Bane-esque voice distortion on the hook – championing his resilience in one breath and daring all challengers in the next (“I give a f*ck about the next man!“).

“Nemesis” serves as the second release (following “I Got It”) from Rascal F. Kennedy’s upcoming Diary Of A Kool Kid project, slated to release this spring.
