Curren$y Releases ‘The Owner’s Manual’ EP [@CurrenSy_Spitta @COOLandDRE] Bradford J. Howard January 19, 2016 Music 2 Comments Curren$y has a VERY busy 2016 ahead of him. The New Orleans Spitta kept himself busy in 2015, as well, what with his Saturday Night Car Tunes series and the release of his Canal Street Confidential album. 2016 will find Curren$y riding the wave his album by way of his official “Canal Street Confidential Tour,” and he plans to release another collaboration with Alchemist, too. So imagine our surprise when Curren$y, out of the blue, unveiled ANOTHER project for 2016, entitled The Owner’s Manual. Initially suspected to arrive later this week, Spitta Andretti shook things up by releasing his FreEP this afternoon. Executive produced by Cool And Dre and absent of features, The Owner’s Manual clocks in at six tracks in length. The charm of a Curren$y tape will always be its ability to serve as a smoker’s soundtrack (“Sorry for The Wraith” and “Came Up” alone can serve this purpose); but The Owner’s Manual has songs for any mood. “Forecast,” by itself, is built for cruising through the city with the windows down.
