A few weeks from now, Kendrick Lamar is going to do his best to take home 11 GRAMMY awards at the 2016 GRAMMY Awards live from Los Angeles. The only person who has scored more nominations for a single GRAMMY award show? Michael Jackson. Since the announcement of the GRAMMY noms, Kendrick Lamar’s pretty much been riding hard on live television performances, first crashing The Tonight Show with a performance of “Untitled II” or “Blue Faces”. Then on Saturday, Cornrow Kenny hit Austin City Limits for a bridged performance of To Pimp A Butterfly and good kid, m.A.A.d city tracks. Know what tops all of that?

A kid from Compton, going to The White House and meeting President Obama.

Lamar, fresh cornrows and black shirt, sits in the Oval Office with the President for the latest short clip of his titled “Pay It Forward”. Kendrick acknowledges how he’s a mentor to the youth, same as how President Obama is a mentor and inspiration to him. He knows how much he means to the children of not just Compton but the world in general. It’s a rather breathtaking short clip directed by Dave Meyers and The Little Homies (Kendrick + TDE president Dave Free) and you can watch it in full below.
