Three years later with a ton of fanfare for their sophomore album, Sound & Color, Alabama Shakes returned to Austin City Limits over the weekend to perform cuts from their Grammy-nominated album. The 41st season premiere of Austin’s noted weekly live music show also features a guest set from Vintage Trouble. You can watch Alabama Shakes’ latest Austin City Limits performance below. The band is nominated for six Grammys at the 58th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, including a nomination for Album of the Year. The other nominations include one for Best Alternative Music Album, Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical (Shawn Everett and Bob Ludwig), Grammy Award for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical (Blake Mills), and “Don’t Wanna Fight” for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song.
