I hope that anyone reading this is aware that potential spoilers will be revealed with the following story. If you haven’t seen Stars Wars 7 then please go away!!! With that said let us begin.

There has been a lot of theories floating around the cinematic universe in regard to the Star Wars franchise. Is Rey actually Han and Leia’s second child or Luke Skywalker’s daughter? Through the many theories some have been put to rest and other hold very strong possibilities to be true, but one theory has not been mentioned until today. In the film The Empire has now been replaced by The First Order and is in full steam to launch their campaign for supreme leadership.

Among the leadership between Sith Lord Kylo Ren and General Hux they normally seek council with the Supreme Leader Snoke. The supreme leader’s identity has been shadowed in darkness which keeps the theories flying on who he could possibly be. The top theory given is Snoke is actually the supreme leader of the entire family of Sith Lords and has trained this family since the beginning. A working theory being that in the film Snoke towers over everyone even though it is later revealed that it is indeed a hologram. As I watched the film and continued to read theories on the subject it dawned on me. What if the theories have gone back to far and skip over something very major. Putting two and two together I have determined that Supreme Leader Snoke’s real identity is no other than Sith Lord Starkiller.

Star Wars: The Apprentice

Star Wars: The Apprentice

For those that are unfamiliar with this Character, The Apprentice was one of the Star Wars franchise best selling games back in 2008. It told the story of a young man that is taken under Darth Vader’s wing and trained to become a Sith. In the second release, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed The apprentice is given a choice that will determine whether he chooses the light thus sacrificing himself to help stop the Empire or give into the darkness and become the Sith Known as Starkiller.

If the apprentice did in fact become Starkiller the timeline would match perfectly with Star Wars 7. The Apprentice storyline take place between the first Star Wars film and the second before the rebellion was even formed. With this timeline the Apprentice would have had more than enough time to establish himself as the Supreme Leader and as well transformed into the figure we see in the film due to the span of over 40 years occuring.

Another fact that makes this theory even more believable is the relationship that he has with Kylo Ren and as well another piece that the First Order holds dear. Now if Snoke is indeed in fact Starkiller what better way to feed your Sith ego than naming a weapon that can destroy planets after you.

That’s right! In the film the weapon is mentioned as the Starkiller Planet, how fitting this planet is not only named after the supreme leader but their main stay of communication between the leaders are conducted on it. As the movie progress you begin to see Kylo take on the traits of that of his Grandfather Darth Vader. With Vader’s master killed who else would be able to teach Kylo in the ways of Vader better than his apprentice.

This is once again just another theory but could indeed be deemed one of the best theories so far.

Give us your thoughts on the matter. Star Wars: The Force Awakens is in theaters now.

Force Unleashed isn’t canon anymore I believe (although in my head it still is) but I’d love this theory to be true!
