The road to Pretty Pink, the newest release from Day & A Dream Breakout Queen and Houston to Leimert Park emcee Raven Sorvino, hasn’t been an easy one. Initially anticipated to arrive in the summertime, the EP was delayed, but with good reason – Raven’s never been the type to rush anything. Thankfully, Pretty Pink landed today, enabling the Language Artz emcee to have both started AND ended 2015 with new releases.

Raven Sorvino has been gushing over Pretty Pink ever since it was first announced, primarily because it features women only. In addition to boasting appearances from Gangsta Boo and Melát on the EP’s lead singles, Lucille Ghatti joins Raven on one of the stand-out cuts, “Edible” (which cleverly flips Khia’s “My Neck, My Back” on the hook). Pretty Pink‘s five tracks were also entirely produced by Sorvino’s frequent collaborator on the boards, WoodysProduce.
