Just as she was preparing to sell the biggest album sales wise since the early 2000s, Adele had a one-off show at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. It was her first concert in four years and first live U.S. television special, ‘Live In New York City’. The latter part of that sentence feels like a rarity considering that most musician specials or concerts end up on Showtime or HBO these days and not primetime network television. Adele’s Live In New York City special featured a mix of 25 tracks as well as some of her 21 hits such as “Rolling In The Deep”, “Someone Like You”, “Set Fire To The Rain” & “Skyfall”, the song for the 2012 James Bond film that won her an Academy Award. If anything, this is pretty much a prelude to what she’s going to be performing during her recently announced North American tour.
