There are many ways to get yourself noticed as an artist in Houston. You should work hard, of course. You can get a co-sign from the biggest names in the city. And you can put out a provocative music video.

Yung Martez kills all three birds with one stone.

The Houston-bred emcee linked up with local products “Mr. 3 Weeks” BeatKing and “Mr. Flicka Da Wrist” Chedda Da Connect, for his new single, “Cuttin’ Up.” “Cuttin’ Up” is already getting play in clubs and on H-Town radio; but Yung Martez gives his track a new life by way of “Cuttin’ Up’s” new visuals, set in none other than the V Live steakhouse gentlemen’s club.

No, there’s no nudity, but “Cuttin’ Up’s” music video is still NSFW. With TrillArt of 1st Class Enterainment behind the lens, “Cuttin’ Up” posts up the three emcees in the strip club with their crew, the gorgeous women of V Live shaking, swinging, and gyrating as they’re showered with dollars. BeatKing references Bill Cosby, Chedda spits with adorned in Astros gear, and Martez himself demonstrates great concentration as he raps while surrounded by cheeks, cheeks, and more cheeks.

The BeatKing and Chedda Da Connect-assisted “Cuttin’ Up” will appear on Yung Martez’s upcoming HollyHood Bay Bay & Kiotti-hosted Struggle 2 Success mixtape (slated to boast appearances from a Rogues’ Gallery of Texas artists including Paul Wall, Slim Thug, Propain, Kirko Bangz, and more). Yung Martez’s “Cuttin’ Up” single, however, is out now on iTunes.
