A few weeks ago I heard Bobby Sessions & -topic’s “Peyton Manning” and immediately deemed it my favorite song in the entire universe. That’s right, the entire universe. When Bobby Sessions flipped from being just another rapper on the verge to one with a set purpose, things changed. January’s “Black America” opened the door for him to be seen on a national level, mainly due to the fact that he as a twenty-something made it personal to dive deep into his own mental patterns. He saw death, friends regressing and leaving their goals and aspirations behind and then some. “Peyton Manning” lets Bobby Sessions & -topic drop an avalanche of bars and swing them on a yo-yo.

There’s no segment of bars that are any better than the rest as all of it feels like a cypher session dominated by two men who want it more. Sam Lao, Blue the Misfit and others all crowd around Sessions & -topic inside of a football stadium almost like watching and reveling in the fun. Watch the Jeremy Biggars directed video for “Peyton Manning” from Bobby Sessions & -topic below. His Laws Of Attraction project, the one I’m claiming as one of the best out of Dallas in the coming months is set to drop next year.
