When The Colbert Report went off the air last December, Kendrick Lamar was its final musical guest, performing an untitled track that has never been heard again. So, it’s easy to notice that Kendrick Lamar & Stephen Colbert are pals and Colbert’s musical tastes will forever hold a place for Kendrick Lamar to experiment on a live stage. Last night, Lamar became one of the first artists to grace The Late Show With Stephen Colbert and backed by his band, Lamar twisted, paused and stopped during a medley of performances from To Pimp A Butterfly.
