For over a decade, non-profit organization Workshop Houston has provided an alternative after-school program for middle and high school kids throughout the Third Ward area and beyond; all at no cost to the community. Offering unique workshops with an emphasis on academics, fashion, metal fabrication and music production. Now they’re teaming up with Heineken to deliver “Small Hands, Big Dreams,” an inaugural fundraising event designed to highlight local artists and bring awareness to the organization.

Set for Sunday, September 13  at the popular Warehouse Live, following a special meet and greet at 2pm, the show will be held from 3-8pm. Created as a socially conscious response to “Sunday Funday,” attendees will be treated to food vendors, cold beverages and appearances from Doughbeezy, Phil Wade, Stoppa, SOUL of SHERIF, DJ Young Streetz, DJ Supastar, DJ Honey B NONC3NTS, Live Out Loud Band, Steve Supreemo and more. The event will also feature a special performance from a few of the students themselves, who are eager to share what they’ve been working on.
