Believe it or not, Isaiah Rashad was the TDE member who released the best project of 2014 from the camp. Not ScHoolboy Q, who had the #1 album in the country with OXYmoron or Ab-Soul who released These Days… last year as well. Nope, it was the Tennessee kid with a hell of a backstory and a penchant for carrying not just the torch for his home state but for Southern rap in general. TDE fans should be pleased to know that the follow-up to Cilvia Demo from Isaiah Rashad is finished and turned in. Well, at least according to his Twitter account.

Rashad’s tape would follow Jay Rock’s 90059 which may skeptics believe is landing September. If you were keeping track of Isaiah’s exploits last night then you’d know the TDE rapper was in New York, closing up the Sprite Corner residency with Nas & Jordan Bratton. Best part? Zay got interviewed by Nasir Jones himself. You can catch photos of that event here. For now, be happy that a new album from Isaiah Rashad is on the way, finally.
