Young Thug Arrested On “Terroristic Threats” For Threatening To Shoot A Mall Cop Brandon Caldwell July 15, 2015 Music, News Last night it was revealed DMX was heading to jail for the rest of the year for unpaid child support and now we have to add Young Thug’s name as the latest rapper to be in the hairs of the police blotter. Thug, real name Jeffery Williams was arrested early Wednesday morning on charges that he made terroristic threats at a suburban Atlanta mall last week. Per the Atlanta Journal-Constitution: The 22-year-old rapper, whose birth name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, was arrested without incident around 6 a.m. at a residence in Sandy Springs, according to Jim Joyner, spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force. “Williams was wanted on an outstanding warrant charging him with terroristic threats stemming from an incident that occurred with the jurisdiction of the Dunwoody police,” Joyner said in a news release. According to court documents obtained by Pigeons & Planes, Thugger Thugger threatened a security officer, saying he “threatened to shoot victim in the face with the purpose of terrorizing Mr. Chris May.” May is a mall security officer at Perimeter Mall and all of this occurred on July 7 after Thug refused to leave the mall. He’s currently booked at the Dekalb jail.
