When Apple Music revealed Beats 1 during the Apple Music launch a couple weeks ago, all of the initial pull from Beats Music felt like it came roaring back. Radio shows from Dr. Dre, Q-Tip, Run The Jewels, Pharrell and Jaden Smith’s offered a decent following (Pharrell’s spot reminding me of his appearance on Giles Peterson’s BBC show back in 2006). However, there’s only one big investor in Apple Music and that’s Drake. The Toronto boy king along with OVO co-founder Oliver El-Khatib unveiled OVO Sound Radio earlier tonight, dropping three brand new exclusives as well as a mix of handpicked records from the two of them.

True to OVO Sound’s nature (and Austin based producer Eric Dingus), the eclectic playlist offered sounds from Jack Ü’s “Where Are You,” records from Justin Bieber and Meek Mill’s recently released Dreams Worth More Than Money album as well as exclusives in remixes for WizKid’s “Ojuelegba,” Ramriddlz’s “Sweeterman,” and Roy Wood$’ “Drama.” not to mention Majid Jordan’s “My Love” which premiered yesterday along with Drake’s “Energy” video.

You can hear the full OVO Sound Radio debut episode below as well as the three exclusive tracks too.
