Yesterday, on Instagram, Big Sean posted a few pictures of himself and frequent collaborator Jhené Aiko posed, first as themselves and, later, in a makeup job that had the two looking like grandparents. Without captions, it was initially led to believe that Sean and Aiko were just playing together as friends often do.

But the two pictures made all the more sense this morning when Big Sean officially released visuals for “I Know,” one of the tracks on which Aiko features from the G.O.O.D. Musician’s well-lauded Dark Sky Paradise LP. As it turns out, fans of the rapper were being given a behind-the-scenes glimpse of what was to come.

Lawrence Lamont is behind the lens for the “I Know” music video, an equal parts hilarious and cute take on a love story set in an old folks’ home. The idea of a “Senior Prom” is redefined as Sean and Jhené have like at first sight and, despite the orderlies’ attempts to intervene in their connection, the two manage to get away, hook up, and live like they’re young again. Indeed, the video gives new life to Aiko’s lyric on the track that, “Baby, let me be your vacation.”

The Jhené Aiko-assisted “I Know” appears on Big Sean’s Dark Sky Paradise album, available now.
