With a year that has already started off with new comedy specials from Louis C.K. & Aziz Ansari, comedy fans are in store for even more funny this year as Dave Chappelle’s first stand-up special since 2005’s For What It’s Worth is coming to HBO according to Comedy Hype.

The special, which was rumored to have been shot at ACL Live in Austin would be the first between Chappelle and HBO since his groundbreaking 2000 special Killin’ Them Softly in his hometown of Washington D.C. Even though he hasn’t made a complete return to television, he did raise a few eyebrows by being spotted at the Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber as well as touring the country last year, delivering new material on race relations post Ferguson and Eric Garner, Donald Sterling, having lesbian neighbors raising a child, his early dating life with his wife and more.

There is no word yet as to when the next HBO Chappelle special will arrive but we can at least be joyous with the news that more Dave is coming to the small screen.
